This footage contains staged scenes of a dance at night before a jaguar hunt, and daytime footage of the same. In between we see different men swinging a "bull roarer" that is, an instrument that mimics the sound of a bull, but is meant also to be a spiritual sound. This is the sound that we hear in the dance scenes of the 1931 Matto Grosso film.
